Our five, experienced and dedicated large animal vets are on call 24 hours a day 365 days a year to assist in the care of your stock.

We also have six members of the administration team,

Sarah Ruddick ~ Brenda Lord ~ Kate Simpson ~ Becca Simpson ~ Marie Dodgson ~ Anne Hogg ~

Sarah is also AMTRA qualified so can help with advice and the dispensing of medicines for farm animal and equine.

Helen studied at Glasgow University and has worked in Appleby since graduating. Steve Gaughan BVSc MRCVS

Steve has been a vet in Appleby for many years. Previously a partner in Old Hall Vets he now works as a self employed consultant for Tethera Vets. He enjoys all aspects of farm and equine work. In his spare time Steve can be found climbing mountains or sailing his dinghy on Ullswater.
